Location: Hybrid working from our office near Spitalfields or at home

The ideal candidate will be great at juggling multiple projects to meet fast deadlines. Since we typically run a lot of physical events, you need to be based in the UK even though this will largely be a remote role for the time being.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be working on a range of content and campaign production projects and also have responsibility for managing marketing content to drive interest, awareness and support our growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact as part of a team in a fast-paced but friendly environment.

You will be liaising with design, video production and PR agencies on creating a full suite of content across multiple audiences and platforms. You’ll also be producing written content yourself as well as choosing which stories from the Makers community we highlight and amplify across our channels, in line with the goals provided by the Marketing team leadership.

Overall, you’ll be supporting the marketing team to transform lives in the tech space through digital, events and community marketing.

What Success Looks Like

  • You’ll share and shape the voice of the community, which is set by our Head of Marketing. This means you’ll manage the community blog, which involves an editorial role – you’ll be the one choosing submissions, creating new content, and liaising with contributors.
  • You’ll develop and produce a broad range of marketing materials and assets for specific target audiences, such as newsletters and email campaigns, in partnership with our graphic designer and marketing team;
  • You’ll keep our marketing materials such as brochures and web pages updated with the latest information from various teams;
  • You’ll support our Digital Marketing Lead with campaign design and deployment
  • You’ll support our Events Lead with event write-ups and content, as well as assisting in content and design for various teams across the business;
  • You’ll contribute to and develop insights on content metrics on a weekly dashboard;
  • You’ll manage organic social media content creation and delivery across Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter and Instagram;
  • As you can see from the above, you’ll have a lot to juggle! So you’ll need impeccable time and project management skills.

For the Content & Campaign Manager role, we’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in developing and executing inbound marketing strategies using HubSpot or a comparable sales & marketing automation platform
  • Strong communication, creative and editing skills, with great spelling and grammar skills
  • Experience in producing engaging content and managing this across various digital platforms
  • Understanding of different content types and how they can be used for lead generation
  • Understanding of SEO and how to write for search engines
  • Experience in using WordPress and social media sites
  • The ability to learn fast, take the initiative, and work independently as well as contribute to the team
  • A passion for learning more about digital marketing.
